This year my luck with swim suits has pretty much been . . . not good. I shopped for forever at the mall one day, looked at all the local regular places you look (Target, Walmart, Shopko, Kohls, Morris Quilting, and some others) But had found NOTHING I liked. I looked ALL over the internet (modbe, hapari, shades, layers something, etc) But found nothing in my size that I liked that would look good on me. I looked on the Lime Ricki site as well and found a swim suit I was in love with. . . only to find out that it was out of stock in my size AND discontinued. I then continued on that same site only to find more and more out of stock pop-up screens. It was EXTREMELY frustrating to say the least. Why is having a cute swim suit so important you ask? 1. I don't like the one I have 2. If I am going to be in the public pool this summer where many people my age hang, I do not want to look like a frumpy old lady 3. We are swimming during youth conference. enough said 4. I'm sure there will be many water activities this summer and I don't want to be the only one of my friends looking retarded. 5. I want one!!!!! . . . Okay enough blabbing.
Today my mom and I stopped at a boutique that carried Lime Ricki swimwear, just to make sure. . . the very first swim suit I tried on I loved. It's not my usual taste, but I love it! All the down sides to the suit are so quickly out weighed by the upsides. Call me crazy, but I'm actually gonna wear animal print, like I said, not my usual taste. The only real down side is the wierd tan lines I'm gonna have. . . Oh well, who cares!! I love it! Here it is:
