As I try to get back on a regular blogging schedule, I wonder, what makes a blog interesting? Which entries from my favorite blogs do I most enjoy? The ones that make me laugh, cry, more aware, smile? All the above and more? Do the pictures I post tell a story? Perhaps this one does. Or this one. Three guesses what happened on this night with my friends :) That's right, my friend Mercedes' car fell apart. So what did my Eagle Scout friends do to solve the problem? That's right. Bandaids.
What about this pic? What story does this picture tell? The obvious story is the the fan loyalty of these five boys. Is that it? Does the story stop there? I don't think so. Perhaps their stories are more hidden. This picture for example. Though it may appear to be just a picture of a pond, it tells nothing of the fond memories made there. It doesn't express the joy of family weenie roasts, frog catching, or turtle watching.

My point? From now on I'm going to make an effort to post pictures with stories. Like these:
I hope you enjoy these pics as much as I do! Now a question for you (the maybe two people who will ever see this), what makes a post interesting for you?
