Saturday I had a Science Olympiad (basically the geek squad:)) competition. I have to tell you, it was a blast! I woke up at five, left the school just after six, and then we drove to Ogden. I participated in two events: Cell Biology, and Picture This. Cell Bio was a big test about cells and stuff, which I think my partner and I (Diana) did fine at considering that we were competing against seniors. Picture This was basically pictionary with sciency words, now that was fun. Alena and Diana were my partners and we pretty much rocked. We took second state-wide and each received a medal and a scholarship.
The entire day was just fun. One of my best friends (Brittny) also did it, so we had a blast hanging out. As a team we played Curses, went bowling and out to dinner before returning for the awards cerimony. Overall it was an awesome expiremce. I'll post pix as soon as I get them!
